SUNday

Not much has happened today, we've visited family, eaten the lunch I prepared yesterday and watched some catch up telly while making pompoms* (more on that soon!).  We've done this with the house bathed in beautiful spring sunlight. Now while I sit typing this, the solar lights are shining nice and bright. They've been blinking on and off over the last few weeks, but this weekend they're really looking good.

Spring is just round the corner (can't wait!).

It's Snowing!

Yesterday it actually did what the weather man said, being down south when snow is mentioned you never really think it will be you that gets it. I looked on the BBC weather site on Thursday and it said that by 9am we would have snow…as I walked to work it started to do just that, tiny little specks at first and by the time I got there, big fluffy blobs. 

I love snow as long as I don't have to drive in it! I'm lucky enough to live close enough to work to be able to walk and if I wanted I could work from home.

By three o'clock they sent us home!  So it was a date with the sofa, Jim-jams and UK Gold for me!

Feeling crepe...

I've been feeling a little lethargic of late, don't know if it's the darker nights, colder weather or I'm just fed up.

I decided to try and rectify the situation and have started taking Berocca, they look like a big refreshers and taste *tropical* lets hope they work!

 On Thursday I went for a walk with my Mum for some fresh air, on the way back we stopped for lunch

not quite sure this is healthy, Nutella and banana crepe, but it did make me feel much better!

Go Away!

Loose ends...

A while ago when we had sun (!) I spent the afternoon wallpapering a wall in our dining room with this paper, it was a hot steamy day, and I lost the will to live, a quick picture was posted and that was that. I've been waiting for some decent light to show you the finished wall with all the furniture and stuff back in situe,

We also moved the bookcases to the other side of the room, sold our dresser and found the red cupboard in the above photo on ebay. It didn't look like that went we got it…but that's another post!
